Error While Adding SWIS To Service Reference

Hi everybody,

I have a weird problem. When I want to add SWIS Service Reference to my .Net application, I give this error like attached image.

The link I want to add : https://<ip_address>:17778/SolarWinds/InformationService/v3?wsdl

I can see that web service wsdl in IExplorer. Can you give me any suggestion?

I found the solution. While adding service reference, I had used IP address. When I added IP address and (service) hostname at 'hosts' file on my machine, the problem has solved.

What version of NPM are you using? What version of Visual Studio?

I'm glad you figured it out! I don't know that I would have been able to guess it, but I'll know to look out for that in the future.
