Additional component installed only on the Additional Polling Engine

Hi All,

Need a confirmation on the below scenario.

Can we've an additional component installed only on the Additional Polling Engine without installing it on Primary Poller ? Will it work as expected ? Will it be able to pass data to Primary Poller ? Can we have alerting enabled for it ?

I need to have IPAM and NTA installed but only on the additional poller. I'm aware that NTA can be installed as a standalone component with its DB server same as of primary poller (in latest versions).
