How to track events aside from certain Event IDs?

In APM, latest rev, I am tracking certain eventID's in an APM template.

I want to track the presence of errors and warnings for all other eventIDs.

So I created a new component monitor that says to Exclude specific IDs.

Down at the bottom I put in the EntryID field a comma separated list of IDs, the same as when I'm searching for a match among certain IDs. I click submit.

However, if I go back into the template afterwards, it doesn't save the event list. Not sure if this is proper or a bug.

Can anyone else exclude a colleciton of IDs in a Event Log component?

The image above is what you should see in Firefix 3.6.13 for APM 4.0.2 SP3. I checked that the text boxes should be visible in IE 8 as well.

If you don't see the text boxes please open support ticket that we can look closly on that issue.

And please can you post screenshot of that particular component here on twack? I want simulate that problem in me envirionment with the same setting as you have to be sure i didn't overlooked anything.

Must be a bug. I'm using IE 8, Firefox 3.6.2 and neither of them show any box like you show. I tried creating another one, checking the other radio buttons first, and still nothing. This is my SW versions:

SolarWinds Orion Core 2011.1.0 SP1, APM 4.0.2 SP3, NPM 10.1.2, IVIM 1.1.1

Hi,

If you want exclude specific event IDs please fill the comma separated list in text box which is behind Exclude radio button and the EntryID field as well. Both of those fields must be filled. I realize this is not very user friendly. Please let me know if that held you.
