Creating a URL as a Custom Property

We used to have a link set up for the phone number custom property in the node as a URL that would connect to skype and call out. A few months ago we noticed that the link broke and haven't been able to find a way to fix it - <HTML><a href="Tel:+5-555-555-5555 ">SkypeLink<a/><HTML>. Having given up on this since we don't utilize skype as much anymore we entered it as plain text so we could just copy\paste it and move on. We tried to apply to the same concept for links to the new routers we are having installed that have a URL GUI such as https://x.x.x.x and when we copy\paste this link it searches it as if it was just text and not an ip. Would there happen to be a way around this?

And if you are getting really buried on this you can just make a custom HTML resource that has something like <a href="${custompropertyname}">Click here to go to ${custompropertyname} </a>

Each node already has a link to their ip address if you look at the edit nodes screen under web browse template. You can set that and it will build a link to wherever on your node details page. If I recall correctly you can set them in bulk from the manage custom properties page as well.

The Node does indeed have a link set with the IP but it cannot be changed to fit the format required for the remote connection to the router. I found a few pages of info that would have worked to update the HTTP\Telnet links and fit exactly what i wanted but does not work with NPM 12.3 unfortunately.

So currently, i've been trying to figure out a way to embed a link as a custom property and i'm starting to think its not a possibility with their new web page.

In what way can you not set that link to work? Worst case scenario you can hardcode it to any value at all that you want.
