NCM Scripts for printers

I have over 1000 printers that I need to change the default SNMP string with a custom string. Does anyone have a script that can be pushed with the NCM or know a way this can be achieved?  The printers are mostly HP but we have Cannon, Brother, Zebra, and Xerox to name most of them.

There are a few options to look into:

• Telnet or SSH into a printer, manually change the snmp string and save it.  Record the process and use it at a script.  Select all similar printers in NCM (assuming you're monitoring them with NCM, and may even have applied R/W permissions to NCM's system account), and paste in the script and execute it.
• Identify every printer that uses a different CLI (or snmp R/W) process to change snmp strings, record each one's process as a separate script, and run the script across all similar printers with NCM doing the execution for you.
• Use a third-party tool, such as the one HP offers, and do the changes in bulk with that tool.  If you don't have the tool, you may be forced to https into every printer (you DO have http disabled, and https enabled, don't you?) and change the strings manually.
