9.5 Wireless Thin AP Removal

I don't know if anyone else has seen this but I recently shut down one of our 6 APs in our office and changed the IP on 2 of them. Orion has picked up the IP change on the 2 APs but shows that 6th AP as down. This has been a few days now.

I'm not sure how I can get that AP out of Orion.

This is a known product defect we are looking into

No, not that has been released yet. Do you have a support ticket open on this item?

i do not have a ticket. Do i need to put one in for the fix or do i just need to wait for the next service pack?

We have the same problem with thin access points and I'm wondering if this known has been addressed yet or if there is a work around to removing these thin AP once they're pulled from service?

Long time listener, first time caller.

This thread looks like it may be kind of dead and I need some help on it.
Recently removed a wireless access point that had associated with our Cisco 4404 WLAN Controller. Got the alert and I can not figure out where to delete/remove this alert for the thin client..

Can you elaborate? We pull the list of thin AP's directly from the controller we are managing. If you remove that thin AP from the controller, it should remove itself from NPM as well.

In Advanced Alert Manager we ship with an alert out of the box to alert when a thin AP goes down. If you log into the Orion server and launch that app, you should see it and can view/edit that alert.

The AP is gone from the WLAN controller as of yesterday when it was unplugged and removed. There is nothing there for me to remove.

I tried the Advanced Alert Manager option, found the alert there and deleted it. This removed it from the Triggered Alerts and I thought we were good.

But it just came back.... D'ohh.

Does anyone else have a suggestion on how to get the triggered alert to go away. It is just sitting there and I can't find anywhere in the system to remove it permanently.
