We purchased NPM to replace MRTG and am struggling to come up with a solution to the following.
We have quite a few branch office sites that have a single T1 link to them. With MRTG, if I had something saturating the T1 circuit, I could easily pull up the Ethernet switch at the site, and by see on a single page the bandwidth graphs for all 24 local switch interfaces at the site, determine the offending node, and quickly resolve the issue.
With NPM, when I chose the site Ethernet switch, all I see is 0 percent bandwidth utilization - because many of my PCs and servers at the site have Gig interfaces. I don't want to adjust the max interface bandwith because there can be high legitimate bandwidth use between nodes within the branch.
I have tried to look for examples but many of the old forum links that point to examples no longer work.
