Uploading exe packages from remote console fails

Hi,

Anyone had the issue of not being able to upload exe files from a remote console session? If I try to import Adobe Air Installer for example I get this error message. MSI files are ok and if I do the same action from the server itself it works without issue.

This is likely the result of Windows file protection/blocking that was introduced starting with Windows vista. Have you tried copying the file to the remote server and verifying the file is not blocked?

Yes, I usuallly unblock the downloads from Java and other apps that require importing before uploading them to the patch management.

Interestingly I checked one of my packages "Adobe Air" and it didn't have a block against but I tried again yesterday to do an upload of Java updates and it worked this time so I'm not sure what is going on.

I found that running Patch Manager with elevated priviliedges (as Administrator) along with unblocking the executable solved the problem for me.
