Determining what is coming from a CDN

This is not necessarily a netflow or solarwinds issue, but there are many knowledgeable individuals here that might be able to provide a little direction. I am able to determine user activity to a particular content delivery network, but I would like to know a little more about what is being received. What is the best way to determine the actual source content. I am guessing that it is most likely video because of the size, but I want to know the original provider, not the CDN. Any help here would be appreciated.

I know that this reviving an old post, but I didn't get any response and am still struggling to determine what traffic is coming from a CDN. Thanks for any responses.

Is all content delivered on a the same ports and protocols? If not, you can map content based on port(s) and protocol on which the data is being received using NTA's application definition feature. Other than that, there isn't really a good way to determine content using NetFlow since more detailed info isn't included in the flows. You might have to analyze using a packet capture.
