Hi,

I have a Citrix Server that sometimes stops accepting connections. We resolve this by running the "Citrix Connection Configuration" dialog and disabling the Citrix ICA 3.0 connection then enabling it.

2 things...

Is there a way we can monitor if the server stops accepting citrix connections?

Is there a way we can restart this connection once an alert has been triggered.

As far as I can see there are no services to stop and start and no other way to disable or enable this connection. I have also tried the Citrix Presentation server application template which does't work for our version of Citrix which is 2002.

You can try creating a TCP Port monitor to monitor the ICA port on your Citrix server. That would be TCP port 1494.

You can create an alert that restarts critical services on the server or even reboots the server if that solves the problem.
