Forgive me for I'm new to this product. I've been asked to connect to the API and find the next available IP and marked it Used. I've been able to find the next IP in a subnet successfully however I can't seem to mark it Used. I suspect my problem is the company is using IPAM 4.5.1 based on this older thread https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/IPAM-Feature-Requests/Add-SWIS-features-to-IPAM/idi-p/556310. Is there a way to mark an IP as Used through the api in 4.5.1 or do they need to move up to a newer version. Thanks folks
I would highly recommend you upgrade to ipam 2020.2. Version 4.5 is far enough behind to have quite a few bugs that will make your life a lot simpler.
