Cisco SG350 sflow and NTA

Hi guys,

Quick question.  Our company has just started using NPM and NTA.  I need to monitor our access level switches but there is confusion about the SG350 using sflow working with NTA.  Any advice i welcome as our Cisco supplier is saying that the Catalst 2960x with Netflow should be used instead.

So netflow does not need to be setup/enabled on every network device. If all of your SG350's roll up to a 2960X, then setting up netflow on the 2960X should capture all of the netflow traffic that you are after. Netflow in general only needs to be setup on 1 device in-between the two points to want to monitor.

I only care about my WAN links, since that is where the bottleneck tends to be for me. I just have netflow running on my firewall. Any traffic going through the firewall gets captured. I rarely ever have bandwidth issues on an internal only connection since everything negotiates on at least 1Gbps. That at least works for me but as you mentioned, your requirements might be different.
