IP Address X.X.X.X doesn't exist in Cirrus database

I am attempting to get Real-time configuration change detection working and am having problems with ConfigAutoDownload.exe not being able to find my device's IP address in the database. I have followed the setup instructions and create a rule within the snmp trap viewer to run the ConfigAutoDownload.exe when the conditions are met. When I make a config change i see the message “IP Address X.X.X.X doesn't exist in Cirrus database” in the RTN.log. I have verifed that the IP address is in the cirrus database through the Database Manager. Is the something that I am missing?

when you looked in database manager, was that IP just listed as one of the ip address in the ip address table?

The trap needs to come from the same IP that NCM users as the main IP address of the device. It should be listed as the "agentIP" in the nodes table.

The agentIP is the ip that NCM uses to communicate with the device. It is also the only ip it will search for when configAutodownload.exe is executed.

The IP address that it says does not exist is the IP address that is contained in the "agentIP" colum of the nodes table.

If that node is managed, it sounds like a bug. We actually made enhancements in 5.5 so that multi-homed devices would work as well, so as long as one of the interface IPs on the device matches, it should still download the config on the corresponding device.
