How can I quickly deploy multiple instances of an application monitor template?

I need to assign hundreds of instances of a custom application monitor that contain a Windows Powershell Script component. How could I deploy lots of instances of the same monitor without going through the GUI? If I can find a supported way to do this, my implementation time will be DRAMATICALLY reduced.

I'm sure there is a stored procedure that I can call, but I have no idea which one at the moment.

SAM 5.2 supports assigning applications to nodes via the Orion SDK/API. This should allow you to use PowerShell or your scripting language of choice to assign these applications template to your nodes programmatically.

I'm just getting started with the API v1.5 but I'm not seeing any documentation about assigning applications to nodes. Let me know if I'm just missing it.

I don't believe the SDK documentation has been updated yet for SAM 5.2. It was only released yesterday. I recommend posting a question to the SDK forum requesting an example.
