Advanced Alert Escalation

In advanced alerts if you select the Trigger Actions/Alert Escalation tabs and select "Do Not Execute this Action if the Alert has been Acknowleged" you will not get ANY further alerts. The system will not even let you know when the node or interface returns to service. I think this is a problem that needs to be addresses. I need to be able to select this option so I'm not alerted over and over again while an alarm is triggered, but I also need to receive email notifications when the node has returned to service. Could someone at Solarwinds please look into this?

Please open a Support ticket with this information. Please include diagnostics. That's the process for getting the problem diagnosed. If it's a bug, it'll get to the product team.
