Setting up e-mail Alerts for HD % Utilization with conditions

Hello

I created basic alerts for HD Utilization hitting 70% and 80%.  But with basic I cannot meet the request of my boss for these alerts.  I am not really sure how to achieve this with Advanced, maybe someone can assist.  I need to set up the following, the last step is the issue:

-          E-mail warning when we exceed 70% 

-          Text message alert when we exceed 80%

-          Check once an hour

-          Send alert only once, after the condition occurs twice in a row.

Well, if you plan to use Orion I would strongly recommend that you become familiar and comfortable with the Advanced Alert system as it's pretty much the focus as far as alerts are concerned and where you can really leverage the power of the system.  I realize that it can be confusing but it's worth your time to learn.

I would start by taking a look at the alerts that are already setup in the Advanced Alert system.  In addition to that there is a white paper on Advanced Alerting that can be found HERE.  Lastly, in the NPM Administrators guide there is a section on Advanced Alerts and that can be found HERE.
