TACACS authentication working intermitently

This morning I watched my radius/tacacs logs and saw that NCM failed about 200 times to authenticate because it was sending ${GlobalUserName} as the user ID... It has done that before but not on that scale. I can authenticate fine right now if I try it. Anyone ever seen that before?

Hi Moyzan - I would suggest opening a support ticket in that case. This is something we should investigate.

I checked our bug tracking system and there is a known issue/feature request with NCM/Radius/TACACS.

I'm going to mark this for the PM to verify. Christine, I'm referring to TT#2631.

Moyzan - are you saying that the problem happens regularly? Did you open a support ticket when you saw that in the previous instance?

I just checked my logs again and it happened several times in december. It was on the same scale, about 200 failed attempts.
