"Configuring NPM for ESX" for Dummies

Does anyone know if there's a guide for configuring ESX in NPM?

My boss just asked me why I'm not monitoring our ESX environment with NPM. Basically, I told him it's because I don't know how. The Adminstrator's guide doesn't tell you how. I can find MANY suggestions about individual details here but it would be great to have a doc that told me how to do all of it (especially since I am NOT an ESX admin and I know very little about it).

I'm running NPM 9.1 SP5 and VMWare 3.5. (Can't go to NPM 9.5 until my new SQL server is ready). :-(

Just add the servers like you would any other node. It might take a couple of minutes for the ESX server views to populate.

One question, I was reading another thread about issues another user was having adding ESX servers. The thread talked about looking at "Views by Device Type" and making sure the Web View for those devices is set to ESX Server Details instead of Node Details. What worries me is, I don't have an Object Type that pertains to ESX devices. Will NPM automatically recognize the ESX server and add that object type by itself?
