Alert Central

I have configured alert central , set up to recieve from Orion , set up a test group with several severity conditions. When I test in alert central it passes and says that it is routed to the correct group but I do not see an alert in the alert display window. When I send a test alert I never se it show up in the alert window ether. Is there something I am missing here?

OK so I rebooted the virtual appliances after reading others having the same issue. All the alerts started showing up . To many alerts. I tried removing all alert routing and even deleted the connection to Orion. I can not stop alert central from sending emails to me . Thousands of emails. I had to shut the appliance down at this point. I dont undersatnd how alert central could have continued to get alerts when I deleted the connection to orion and rebooted.

This product seems quite rough around the edges to say the least.
