Compliance Report Detail

We have spent the past several days writing custom compliance reports for our organization. We have ran into an issue when viewing these reports regarding the violation.

An example would be "Disable BOOTP Services". A mouse-over shows the rule was violated and that the pattern was not found. Is it possible to get the system to show what the pattern was? This would be quite helpful for helping people troubleshoot or to add a specific config to the device in question.

This is in NCM 6.1 which is available today. You should see the web update today announcing 6.1 as well as the download available. The online demo is already updated.

Once again, I assume that Solarwinds cannot do this and a bug must be filed?

Hi Charlesdf22,

NCM 6.1 (available today) can show the violation detail when the user clicks the violation icon. This is from the WEB interface (NPM integration).

Is this what you are looking for?

If not, can you elaborate, and we can open an enhancement request.
