Cannot grab configuration download via telnet.

I am currently evaluating NCM and am testing it with some of our routers, one of which used in a very small office is a btvoyager. I have managed to create a device template to do most tasks, although when i execute the command to print the config (dumpcfg) NCM appears to be disconnecting from the router while it is still dumping the configuration.

Is their any way i can get it to wait until it returns back to the prompt, the format of the dump its self is largly based around tagging using <xxx> to indicate sections of the configuration,

Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps not the same issue, but you mentioned that the config of this device has tags in it to denote different parts of the config.  If these tags are in the format of:

it's quite possible that this is the problem.  I have this issue with Adtran 600 series IADs.  Every line in the entire config, for some unexplicable reason, is prefaced with ">", so when NCM sees this, it thinks that it's a prompt, hangs, and disconnects.

Sorry iv been away for a few days.

I remeber checking our session traces and they would come up with exactly the same lines, specifically the pending disconnect section interested me.

I plan to contact support as suggested sometime tomorrow.

Can you please post a section of the log showing the disconnect? I am having a similar problem, and it would help to know if anyone else is seeing the same effect.
