Hi Everyone,
1. There is one thread I found on thwack showing all the detailed steps required to enable JMX on version 6.1 on JBOSS server and then to monitor parameters.
We did follow those steps on JBOSS EAP 5.3 and it was working fine, except few components of the template was showing unknown state.
Upon checking I found that in MBeans that variable was not present, and the object name was mentioned based on the J Console Object and Type basis. After changing the Objectname based on MBean I was able to pull those information. Still there are few components which are available in J Console but there is no such variable in MBean. If anyone knows then let me know how can I pull variables information (values) those are avaible in J Console but they are not present in MBeans.
2. We are migrating applications from JBOSS EAP 5.3 to version EAP 6.4, in previous version of EAP we had JMX for pulling information from solarwinds. But in EAP 6.4 as per my discussion with multiple folks from JBOSS and Linux background, JMX is not further available even RMI has been removed. Do anyone have done this before, please let us know how we can monitor JBOSS EAP 6.4.
3. ManageEngine, Nagios and CA UIM are already providing solution to monitor EAP 6.4 either through some modification in config file or as part of next release, is Solarwinds also going to provide such feasibility.
