In NCM (via NPM integration module) I am attempting to save a script via the Configuration Management >> Execute a Script menu and I am getting the following error... Access to the path 'D:\Domain\SolarWinds\Orion\NCM\1cde7fff-6d27-4d09-8cbf-fba7a97e85e4.txt' is denied. When I go to my NCM server the D: \Domain\SolarWinds\Orion directory does not exist. I am guessing that the fact the directory doesn't exist has something to do with the error but I am also guessing that it should exist. What exactly am I missing here? Thanks in advance for any help on this!

NCM Save Script Error: access to path is denied

In NCM (via NPM integration module) I am attempting to save a script via the Configuration Management >> Execute a Script menu and I am getting the following error...

Access to the path 'D:\Domain\SolarWinds\Orion\NCM\1cde7fff-6d27-4d09-8cbf-fba7a97e85e4.txt' is denied.

When I go to my NCM server the \Domain\SolarWinds\Orion directory does not exist. I am guessing that the fact the directory doesn't exist has something to do with the error but I am also guessing that it should exist.

What exactly am I missing here?

Start off by making sure the Path specified on the NCM server has the Network Services added to the security.

The "save a script" option in the integration module saves locally to the machine you are browsing from (not to the remote NCM server). Does that clarification help at all?

I don't think that helps me.

If that is the case, it's trying to save to a location that doesn't exist and it won't let me choose the location and ultimately erroring out with the error that I provided.

Basically as soon as I hit the "Save Script" button, I get the error.
