Just noticed on the SolarWinds support site that IPM 9.0.2 was released a month ago, but I can't recall any announcement. Is it safe to install?

Yes, it is safe to install. Firefox 3.0 was released so we did a minor update for browser compatibility with our mapping component.
I just did a scan for updates and it is not showing up. We are at 9.0.1.
Did something change and we now need to manually do the download and install instead of updating from within the application?
That should always work for normal service releases, but this unique in that it wasn't a full build so we couldn't make check for updates work. The fix was just a repacking effort that replaced a .js file causing the Firefox incompatibility issue.
