Data numbers on Summary page vs Int Details page

Good Morning!  I have a question about the data totals that show on the Netflow Traffic Analysis Summary page (main Netflow page) and the Netflow Interface Details page.  If I view the bps on the main page for an interface, it shows, for example, 3.69 Megs in, 16 Megs out.  If I click on the interface and go to the details page, there is much more data in the "Endpoints last 15-minutes" - like almost a gig of data on this int if I add up the top 10.  So what is the difference here... what time frame is the main page looking at?  I have the current version of Orion/Netflow and current SPs installed.  THANKS!  -Debbi

It's whatever the last bits per second value was that Orion NPM reported, so that depends on the polling interval you have set in Orion NPM.

So the Summary page is listing bits per second averaged over a time frame or is it a snapshot taken every minute or so?  -Debbi

That doesn't seem out of the ordinary to me at all.  Remember that the front page is showing the current utilization of the interface, which is likely to remain in a state of flux.  But, let's do the math on what is shown:

16 Mbits per second * 60 seconds per minute / 8 bits per byte = 120 Megabytes per minute

So, for the last 15 minutes, the total would be in the neighborhood of 1800 Megabytes, which seems completely reasonable.
