New to Solarwinds

Hello everyone, just came aboard an organization that utilizes Solarwind Orion.  

Is there any kind of online training of videos so I can make the most of my experience within Orion?

There are a lot (and I really mean A LOT!) of useful training videos here for Solarwinds products.  For starters, you can hover your cursor over "Product Forums" at the top of this page and see the breakdown of general Solarwinds product areas:

Click on the product you're interested in learning and look for the Training Videos link on it.  Here's an example of clicking on Network Performance Monitor's link:

The page that opens up has MANY good links, including:

• The Administrator's Guide (read it--you'll be glad you did!)
• The Release Notes (read these before opening Support Tickets and you might save yourself some time in queues)
• And this special link:  See a list of free NPM videos.

Of course, there is also the list of popular guides and training videos:

These are also great resources to be found by simply clicking the hour class in Thwack and searching for the specific phrase that interests you:

Chances are good your first questions have been asked by others, and you'll probably be surprised when you get the results of the search back.  Look for anything that might make your life easier, and you might find it.

If you DON'T find what you want, simply Click on the "Create" link next to the Hour Glass, select Discussion, and ask the specific question you want.  I think most folks in the forum will agree that you'll likely get answers faster this way than by going through your Support Contract (although for IMPORTANT items I sometimes do both--ask a Question of the Forum, and open a support request).

Just last week I wanted to learn something about User Device Tracker--I'm new to it--and I posted a query.  Someone answered it very quickly, and it was everything I wanted!
