i seem to be missing something on alert suppression that i need a little help with
my issue
Main office
Router A - i have both node and interface alerts setup, i do not have any suppression setup on the node because if it goes down i want to know. The interface i do have a suppression setup because if the node goes down the interface will be down as well. i did talk with techsupport this morning and they walked me though setting up suppression on the interface but i think it has created more of a problem, now if i power off router A i do not get any alerts.
Remote office
Router B - i need to suppress if router a goes down but i will need to have an alert if it goes down, and suppress all other monitored equipment if router B goes down, as well as suppress them all if router A goes down.
if i need to post any screen shots or if anyone needs more info i will give you what i know.
