hello guys There is question that is coming in my mind is there is any other way other than using the database for bulk update of community string for many devices in Solarwinds??
Yup, go to Settings - Manage Nodes - Click on Custom Property Editor. If you click in the right hand side of any of the column headings you'll get a drop down. Select columns and you'll get a list of all the custom properties that you have available. Check the ones you want to see and uncheck those you don't need. What you'll get is a spreadsheet style page that can be sorted by clicking on column headings and filtered by typing in your criteria in the search window.
For Example if your old community was SNMP_string put that in the search field and all of the items with that community will appear. Then simply past in the new community into each item - be sure to save changes before moving on to the next page.
