Juniper Routers throwing bad Values on Recv/Xmit Errors

I am monitoring several Juniper routers along side my Cisco environment. My Juniper routers are throwing bad values using this alert.

I have an advanced alert for error reporting as follows

Trigger Alert when all of the following apply

Department is equal to DataComm

Trigger Alert when any of the following apply

Recv Errors - This Hour is greater than or equal to 100

Xmit Errors - This Hour is greater than or equal to 100

Of course on my Cisco this is accurate and has no issues, but when my Juniper fires off an alert I get.

Juniper-1, Juniper-1 - int0 errors this hour - Receive 8.280366E+07 and Transmit 0.

Has anyone else seen this issue, or have a link to a bug report on this about a fix? I am on 10.2 now and moving to 10.3 in a week for dependency fixes, but didn't see anything about Juniper routers.

Or is there possibly a rule condition for errors that I need to use for Juniper (highly doubt as I haven't seen any other variations) making me create a separate rule for my Juniper devices??

Could we see the alert definition and the variables you're using?

${NodeName}, ${InterfaceName} errors this hour - Recieve ${InErrorsThisHour} and Transmit ${OutErrorsThisHour}, ${DateTime}.

Those are the variables that I use to kick off the alert and write to the event log. This alert is on all Routers/Switch Uplinks. I am only seeing the issue on my Juniper devices, but I can't find any other variables that I could use, or condition triggers in my rule any Cisco reporting device has no issue with the trigger conditions, or the variables used writing to my Event log and E-Mail/SMS alert.

Well, 8.280366E+07 is certainly greater than 100. What is the number supposed to be?

It's logging over 83,000,000.

I take it since that is such a large number Orion can't read the value correctly with the variable input I'm guessing? Anyone able to clairify this?

I have other Juniper devices that were throwing errors as well, but were way under this value and came through properly.

Thats a ton of errors in one hour though thats for sure!!!
