Setting Up Alerts for a Group of Email Recipients

Hi,

I am fairly new to using NPM 12.0.  I have a question on setting up alert notifications.  Is there a way to set up a group with multiple email recipients to be sent on certain alerts?  Do I need to enter the group on each and every one of these certain alerts on each and every node or is an automated way to do this?

The simplest way to do this would be to create email distribution groups in your email software and then target the group email address directly.

Alternatively, you can create a custom property that can hold up to 10 email addresses (comma-seperated) and then call that custom property in the "To:" field of the email action of your alert. You can use this guide as a general example. Please note that the current version of SolarWinds uses a new variable syntax so the ${email} example will probably not work exactly as such, but otherwise the guide is solid.
