"Unable to connect to server 127.0.0.1 port 43951" after IP address change
Will not allow me to view or change configured FTP sites

I'm not sure if this really addresses your problem, but try to have a look at this KB article, maybe it can help.

I did see that article as well. Unfortunately it did not help us. Anyway, it appears I was able to redirect our clients who were using that FTP site to another server. If this works, I will decommission the SERV-U server.
