Removing nodes from the alerts in 11.5

Question

I looked all over for an answer for this, can't find one. The training video is for the older versions where the alerting is still managed server side.  I have a list of printers I want to have polled for latency, and nothing else. They get rebooted frequently, so I do not want alerts sent out when they do, but have not figured out how to remove nodes from alerting like it used to be done.

I had an issue with getting Orion to connect to the support portal, so I had a ticket opened. While we were at it, he also showed me how to reconfigure the alerts. Quite a bit different than the server based basic alerts, but now that I understand how they work, they are quite simple.

probably your best bet is to create a custom property for instance "Printer" with a value of "yes" or "no" and then in your down alert you can just put a single value comparison to exclude that for instance in my screenshot is how i exclude my down alerts from this particular department

so this alert will alert if the node is down, the system name does not contain CUCM, and the department does not contain COR01

you could right it to alert if the node is down, and the printer equals no.

let me know if this doesnt make sense
