Help using TFTP Server
Moonspell
I am trying to send a .bin file to my cisco router. I can only connect to the router using a the blue consol cable that came with the router (has ethernet on one end, serial on the other).
How the heck do I send file to the router? Nothing comes up when I start the TFTP server program. the IP address my machine gets is from my cable modem which is plugged directly into my computer. My computer will not acquire any address from the router when I connect it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Send the .bin via Xmodem...just remember to change the speed otherwise you'll be sitting there for hours and hours.

Assign the router a temporary ip address (to an ethernet interface) and copy like the following link suggests.
