Java Update Using Patch Manager

I would like to update Java to 8.0.101 but the Update does not remove the previous version of Java.This being said, is there a way in patch manager to include an "uninstall switch"? I have just over a 1000 computers and would like to do this as efficient as possible. Any Ideas?

Thanks @Michael Halpin, I ended up copying a custom java.settings.cfg file through group policy to all the clients with the "REMOVEOUTOFDATEJRES=Enable", switch included and that did the trick.

I did go through the thread and found it very helpful and will definitely be using it in the near future.
