is there is option to monitor hard disk space and other thing of Windows 7 workstation by APM?
Monitoring a Windows 7, Vista or XP machine is really no different from monitoring a Windows Server 2003/2008 host. You can monitor volumes/interfaces/CPU/memory via SNMP, and even processes, services, Windows Performance Counters and WMI objects as well. When dealing with WMI you may have some permissions issues you may need to set if the machine is not part of a domain. All of this however is predicated on running Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate. Home Editions cannot be monitored with APM.
many thanks
but can you describe how to creat new template and configure monitors?
You can create new application templates manually by going to "Settings -> APM Settings -> Create a New Template" and then adding individual component monitors to the template for the things you want to monitor. This process is a little advanced and requires a good working understanding of how to configure individual component monitors which is outlined in the Administrators Guide.
What I would recommend is using the "Find Processes, Services, and Performance Counters" under "Settings -> APM Settings". This is a wizard driven process for creating new application templates or adding to existing templates consisting of Processes, Services, Windows Performance Counters, JMX Counters, VMWare Performance Counters and WMI objects.
