import ip address file & send reservation to dhcp server

Hi , new to IPAM so apologies in advance if this has already been covered, we use static dhcp reservations so on our dhcp server there are lots of "old" reservations which I want to make available, I've been testing this by using "import ip address file" and all works fine as IPAM is updated and ip's are marked as available, problem is when a scan runs the existing reservation on the DHCP server overwrites the data in IPAM and the ip reverts to reserved. question is basically is there a way to select "send reservation to dhcp server" for the imported ip's.

You will need to add the DHCP server into the IPAM module so that you can edit the reservations and scopes from the IPAM web console

Thanks donrodert5, I already have the dhcp server in IPAM and I can update it from IPAM for individual IPs when I select the tick box for "send reservation to dhcp server" when editing the IP, my issue is that I have imported a list of IPs that have been inactive for over a year but that are still reserved on DHCP, I was wondering is there a way to update the dhcp server using IPAM without having to do each IP individually, I will probably just run a script to update the dhcp server directly but was hoping that IPAM would have this feature.

how about putting a checkbox on multiple IP and then try to send the reservation to the DHCP server. I haven't tried it though.

I can only find the "send reservation to dhcp server" option when editing individual IPs, can't seem to find this option when editing more than one IP
