Has anyone replaced a host doc with IPAM?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has replaced a host doc, like a Microsoft word doc to manage IP address with the solarwinds IPAM product. If so, how did you do it, how long did it take, and is it easier to manage? Thanks in advance for any post on this.
