I would like the alert to re-issue every 4 hours until the 'Reset' conditions are met. Does the checkbox below depend on some actually manually acknowledging the alert?
Or should the wording be 'until the reset condition is met' ?
Once the reset happens it does stop all further trigger actions, or you can stop it while the alert is active by acknowledging
So what is happening is some users are retiring equipment and forgetting to ask to have it removed from monitoring. The initial alert sends a notification letting them know the node is down.
If the node continues to remain down after several hours I want to continue to send notifications every few hours until its either unmanaged or removed from monitoring. The users don't use/access the
internal Orion console at all. The alerts are being sent on to a different console app.
