Ive installed agent on to Windows 2008 server .. there is a system management console software .. on the server .. is there any way i can monitor the log of that SMC .. on solarwinds ???????
This could be a lame question but i want to ask --> How can i monitor CPU memory, virtual memory limit, physical memory limit comms module on the server where agent is installed.. ???? windows event log.. if so i can i configure it ????
If you set up performance monitors/counters to log to the event log, LEM will pick those up. That's probably the easiest way.
i did add those on the performance counter... but how does it LEM picks up ... ???

Performance Counter events go to the Windows Application Log, I believe. If you check the event log directly you should see them, then configure the LEM tool corresponding. By default Windows agents should have the App/System/Security logs enabled.
