A problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup didn't finish as expected.

I was running Dameware Mini Remote Control x64 and I received a message that the license had expired but for some reason; at the moment I can't remember why, but, it wouldn't allow me to enter the activation key so I uninstalled the application and now when I try installing it again I get the message found in the title of this document so I ran ccleaner and everything in this document: MRC installation error: There is a problem with this Windows Installer package - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Sup… What do you suggest I do next?
