LEM's restrictconsole and restrictreports command has no effect.
For example, I settings restrictconsole only allow 192.168.1.1,
But the 192.168.1.2 is still can login to LEM console, What steps do I still lack ?
There were issues with restrictreports in 5.6 (not all ports were blocked as expected) but 5.7 should have resolved them going forward - it won't necessarily retroactively apply to existing settings, only new ones (hence the suggestion to re-run).
We can't really promise/communicate a timeframe for the next release, but it's a little ways out still.
Have you applied a license and run the ACTIVATE command in the APPLIANCE menu of the CMC shell?
Are you running version 5.7? We know there was an issue with restrictreports at least in version 5.6 that may cause this behavior.
I am currently running LEM version 5.6 , and has also been activated
But I try to install the evaluation LEM version 5.7
The restrictconsole and restrictreports command is still no effect.
Have you re-ran restrictreports since upgrading to 5.7?
I can confirm there are some lingering issues with restrictconsole - we're working on fixes that should be in our next release.
Ok , thank you.
Ver 5.7 is test LAB , In order to test restrictconsole and restrictreports command.
The next version about when to release ?
