Layer monitoring

I was thinking to shift to solarwinds for network management and monitoring and found this software to upto my requirements. But there was this one thing that im unable to find. That is whether orion modules or the toolset (engineer or standard edition) support layer monitoring? As in monitoring on all the OSI layers.

OR perhaps whether the combination of different module make up for the monitoring of the layers.

Please repond is thins regard. I might sound a little bit absurd here but i think my post give the gist of what i want to know.
