Alerts - Crash on new\updated Alerts

With the new\updated alerts for Windows server 2003-2008 Services and Counters, SQL Server 2005-2008 Database, Exchange 2007-2010, and Active Directory 2003-2008

After 24/48 hours.. they crash... The server(s) are up and running.. Only happens to certain server(s).. (not all).. It's like the WMI crashes.. Happens with Windows 2003 and 2008 R2

Has anyoen else ran into this problem?

ORION: NPM v10.1.2 APM v4.0.1

ALERTS RUNNING ON: Windows 2008 R2 SP1, Windows 2003 R2 (all 64bit)

I am still having issues with WMI crashing after awhile

Might be time to open a support ticket if you are on active maintenance.

When you open a support ticket, would you:

--Reference this thread to Support.
--Post back here with a case number.
--Post any solutions you get from Support.

The server's event log doesn't shed any light on this?

What I found so far... (couple of things)

Upgrade to AMP 4.0.2 (better application monitors)

Also when the crash would happen also the "Remote Registry Service" would crash too

so I set the service to "restart" and still research on "why"

This only happens on a few servers (2008 R2) I think its an M$ issues
