Removing Monitors from Templates

If I remove monitors from templates, can I get them back by re-assigning a template to a group of servers? Or once I delete hte monitors, are they gone for good? I can go into each server and edit the application monitors, but would rather have a quick way to 'profile' servers with temporary templates that have deleted monitors I don't need.

Once a component monitor is deleted there's no way to re-inherit this component from the template. Your only option at this point is to remove the template from the node and re-assign it, or manually recreating the component again for that node. Please note that components created manually on a node will have no association to the original template. In the future I would recommend disabling component monitors you don't need/use at the node or template level instead of deleting them. Disabled component monitors don't count against your license count so there's no need to delete them.

OK, how do I go about 'disabling' them on the template level? All I see is Delete or Test.

When you expand the component monitors within the template you will find an enabled (yes/no) option. Enabled = no is effectually the same as disabling the component.
