Just started an eval of the Server and Application Monitor tool. Can I extend the tool to collect other configuration details and inventory e.g. installed applications?
SAM is more of a server and application health, performance, and availability monitoring solution and not positioned as an asset and inventory product. However, both NCM and Patch Manager can both collect and report upon certain inventory information such as installed applications, etc.
