NTA - Top talking nodes email alert

Question

Hi I wonder if anyone can help... i am new to SW so maybe this has been covered before...

does anyone have an alert configured to send an email when say a node on the network is using x percent of bandwidth or transmitting/receiving x data?

I want to find a way of being alerted when the bandwidth hogs are hitting the link before users complain

does anyone have some neat tricks?

any help will be greatly appreciated ....

Seems to me that ASA's SNMP agent creates interface name using following convention

Adaptive Security Appliance 'outside' interface - outside

and macro called from within message body can't handle single quote character

the email I get is

Interface SHCL01-inpath0_0 on node SHCL01 transmitted at 99 of its utilization, which triggered this alert. which is the High Transmit Percent Utilization with Top Talkers (out of the box alert)I see in NTA you can see the top talkers but is the above an alert by email?thanks
