Custom Update Package Stale MetaData

Guys, I have created a several custom packages. What i have found is that If I change the installer parameters, on Windows Server 2016 this is not reflected in the package until I clear out the local SoftwareDistribution folder. I have even republished the modified package but server 2016 re-downloads the binaries but keeps the old command line. What to do?!
