Subnet not moving despite updating ParentID

I am trying to update the folder structure for a subnet, but despite updating the subnet's ParentId it stays in the root folder. Does anyone know what is wrong? Maybe there's another table I have to update?

Steps:

Create a subnet (10.46.23.0 /24) using SWIS
Identify the node's GroupId (2311)
Use swis.update to change the subnet's ParentId to that of an appropriate supernet (Change Parent ID from 0 to 1548)
Confirm that the database reflects the updated ParentID and refresh the page
The GUI still shows the subnet in the root, rather than under the proper supernet

Did anyone ever help you with this? I am facing the same problem. Trying to create CIDR subnet with subnet mask lower than 21. Can't use create method because they messed it up, and invoke method places my /16 subnet to a root of the hierarchy group. So I have to change ParentId after calling invoke method, and the command does work. However, GUI never reflects my change which is bizarre

To be honest, IPAM API seems to me to be just an afterthought, not a feature that people would be encouraged to use. So many limitations and not much desire from Solarwinds side to help you out and fix the bugs for years

I wish if they would sort this out before customers decide to move to other products and solutions

There is a requirement to restart all of the Orion services after the ParentID changes in IPAM. Silly but that is what I've found to work. I created this script that i've used to update parentId
