So its 2018,

Happy New Year

What bad habits are you going to try and eradicate from your IT environment and from your monitoring environment?

I'm going to try and do things simply and practically. Confusing Solarwinds users is never a good idea.

I'm going to drink more coffee.

I'm going to think of clever ways to visually present information to my users.

I'm going to monitor things they have never monitored before.

What are you going to do ?

My goals this year are to:

Do better at documenting my work.

Involve my users in a more active way.

Complete my IT Policies and Procedures.

Wrap-up projects before moving on to the next.

All best practices in my opinion, but the next steps in building my companies 1st IT department.
