Cirrus Report Filters

Hello all,

I have an issue with the report filter in Cirrus. I am running inventory report on interfaces but I want to filter things out. I've got a custom property that I can filter by, which is nice and easy as I can chose "Custom Properties" from the menu. However, I would also like to filter out certain interfaces, but there are no interface fields I can chose. I have Node Details, Discovered Properties, Login Information, Communication and as mentioned, Custom Properties. It seems strange that I can do a report on interfaces but not be able to filter by any of the interface fields it's reporting on.

Is there a way to get interface fields included, or do I have to export the report and hack at it in excel?

No, Orion NPM is not an option because we dont have enough licenses to monitor every switch port.

I was able to pull the data I needed by writing a custom SQL script and executing it in SQL server management studio. It would have been much easier if I was able to use the NCM report writer to do this.

There is kind of a way, but is not really a clean usable result. Your best bet would be to use Orion. Is that an option for you?

Bringing this thread back to life.

I am trying to write a interface report that shows me only interfaces of a certain type and with a status of "up", but there seems to be no way to filter on any of the interface fields, only node fields. Am I missing something, or is this going to turn out to be a feature request?
